Red-legged Seriema The red-legged seriema represents the fauna of the grassy areas of South America. The species of Gruiformes is a great runner and although it is capable of flight, it prefers to walk. Its main diet consists of insects, frogs, small rodents, snakes and a supplement of plants. The distinctive, powerful voice of these birds, resembling a gurgle or hysterical laughter, contributes to the morning and evening climate at the Gdańsk garden.
