Javan Lutung The natural environment of the Javan lutung consists of the Asian tropical forests and their peripheries. The species feeds
mainly on leaves, which are digested with the help of additional salivary glands in the animal’s specialized, multicellular stomach. The Javan lutung lives in family groups. Mothers are helped with rearing their young by the other females from the herd. The Javan lutung can occur in two different colours: black and yellow-orange.
